Co-Director of Research (Managing Director)
The Co-Director of Research position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced portfolio manager or research department head looking to be part of a new investment management process and a fast-growing startup. As the Co-Director of Research, you would be part of a management team overseeing the research group and be part builder, part manager, and part analyst. NUKU's investment process, which includes methods for managing analysts and their intellectual work, is under continual development, but at its core has been designed to be efficient and effective.

Sr. Website (Front-end) Engineer
We are looking for an individual that can design and implement the front-end of our service that will be launched later this year. This individual will be highly skilled in HTML, Javascript, Ruby and Rails. All design work on the site as well as all back-end data sources are complete so work can begin immediately. This is a full-time contract position, which can be worked virtually, however candidates that are located locally (we are based in Pioneer Square) and can visit with us will be preferred. We are looking to fill this position immediately.

Senior Analyst (Executive Director/Director)
The Senior Analyst position is for an individual enthused over the investment process and has the ability to successfully identify undervalued investments that will have above-average total return performance. Candidates will have strong analytical, presentation and writing skills as you will be expected to communicate your investment conclusions internally and to clients. You will be a self-starter and relish the opportunity to utilitize new methods and processes in investment research. Candidates for this position should have a depth of experience in specific investment management-related disciplines, acquired at either a buy- or sell-side financial firm.
The Senior Analyst position is open to candidates globally and can be a virtual position or based out of our Seattle office.

Research Analyst (Analyst Internship Program)
The Research Analyst position is part of our Analyst Internship Program, which is a full-time one-year program that will take its participants through all aspects of the investment process and have a focus on specific sectors and/or asset classes. The program is designed for individuals that have completed a minimum of an undergraduate BS/BA degree in business or finance, or CFA, and have either taken coursework or have been employed in the field of investments.
Individuals in the program will be doing a wide range of work in the field of investment research, ranging from the identification, assessment, writing reports, and the presentation of investment opportunities.
NUKU is currently accepting applications for this position. The position has multiple openings and will commence in October 2011 with a training program.

Fixed Income Trader (Executive Director/Director)
The Fixed Income Trader position is an exciting opportunity for an individual that wants to be part of a new portfolio management platform and to lead our efforts in fixed income trading. This could be an opportunity to diversify a skill base for an experienced trader, as the position would be trading U.S. Treasuries, agencies, corporate and convertible bonds, and preferred stocks. NUKU's systems require rapid and frequent execution, much of which is automated, but this position still requires a high level of contact with street dealers.
This is a great opportunity for a trader that would love to live in the beautiful Northwest, but still be active in active fixed income trading on a leading edge platform.

Executive Marketing & Office Assistant (Internship)
This internship position is an Executive Marketing & Office Assistant to the President and other officers in NUKU's Seattle-Pioneer Square office. It is a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing tasks and quick deadlines. You would primarily be working with the Founder and President, but may also assist other executives. The tasks will vary widely, large and small, but most often will require an above-average level of competency and responsibility, ranging from helping the management of our hiring process to even social marketing. You would need to be a self-starter (we are not overstaffed) and have the ability to run with a task, completing it in a proficient and professional manner. This position is valuable to us, and you would be making a positive and important contribution from day one. This opportunity is not limited and could present other opportunities to you as we are a growing company. The hours for this position are 7am-2pm, Monday through Thursday.

Senior Software (Ruby/Rails) Engineer
The Senior Software Engineer position is perfect for an individual excited about pushing Ruby to its limits, in performance, cloud-scalability, and durability. Our computing requirements are extensive and necessitate performance and low fault tolerance as we process proprietary algorithms and transactions with financial markets. As such, the individual for this position will have a passion for programming and particularly Ruby, and will be prepared for the opportunity to be a leader in designing, creating and implementing new systems.
